Our tailored, cloud-agnostic security strategy includes end-to-end encryption, robust identity management, and zero-trust architecture, ensuring that your workloads remain secure and efficient.

How does vSQOD ensure compliance and protect against threats in cloud environments?

vSQOD ensures that all workloads adhere to industry-specific regulations, such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS. Additionally, we implement multi-cloud disaster recovery strategies, ensuring failover and continuity in case of an outage, while optimizing infrastructure to keep workloads scalable, resilient, and cost-effective.

Azure Cloud for Government Migration and O&M Support Case Study

One example of this experience was the migration of workloads from a zero-touch on-premises datacenter to an Azure Cloud for Government landing zone during a divestiture of a division within a large aerospace technology group.

VSO built out a zero-trust implementation within Azure complying with NIST and certified with CMMC 2.0 (Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification) to ensure environmental security.  VSO then built out target systems using golden STIG images for moving all applications and services into the new Azure environment ensuring the environment remained secure and compliant.  VSO then worked with the customer to develop a migration schedule and employed a multiple technology approach based on workloads and datacenter accessibility.

The vSQOD’s involvement throughout the migration of systems from the first workload to the last, and VSO’s defined design to delivery model ensured a seamless transition from migration to managed, without concern for any service gap during the migration schedule.  Once managed, the vSQOD did a standard buildout of monitoring tools and management dashboards utilizing cloud native tools, to ensure that all alerting and logging remained “inside” the secured environment.  The vSQOD worked with the customer to define alert triggers and to customize dashboards and reports, to guarantee that required checks and data points met the needs of the customer.
